With more and more countries embracing Mobile Number Portability (MNP) it is becoming increasingly difficult for to optimise for lowest cost, the routing of voice, SMS, MMS and data calls to mobile telephone customers. MNP has further complicated the ability for those organisations that rely on Reverse Billed SMS to ensure that they receive their correct revenue outpayments from the mobile network operators terminating the transactions.

NQuire Limited is a private limited UK company, based in Guildford and who has been providing services to telecommunications carriers, service providers, SMS, MMS and database cleansing companies since 2003. NQuire’s service reach is not just limited to the UK but by virtue of roaming agreements, covers around 93% of the worlds Mobile Networks.

NQuire’s services are targeted at:

  1. Tier 1 and Tier 2 carriers that route mobile voice, data or text calls and as a value added sales tool for Winback against mobile MNO private circuits
  2. Call centres, number brokers, data warehouses and database cleansing organisations that have a need for "clean" mobile telephone numbers for outbound marketing and telesales activities
  3. Network cost reduction / billing reconciliation companies that provide analysis and business

NQuire’s high capacity access servers, currently running at around 150 concurrent number requests per second, advanced applications and multiple connectivity methods allow for a comprehensive range of value added product sets to be delivered. These products allow for a wide range of customer requirements to be met by providing direct real-time or batched connectivity into the world's mobile network infrastructure and to enable interrogation of mobile telephone numbers irrespective of country or mobile network operator. Information made available to the customer through NQuire's network can be fundamental to the efficient operation of applications and services requiring up to the minute, accurate and reliable data on which mobile telephone numbers are terminated by which mobile network operator. Because information is only provided on the mobile number there are no Data Protection issues.

Technology

For real-time applications NQuire has all the technology necessary to connect a carrier’s switching infrastructure into its network (for non real-time applications connectivity is provided by access to a secure web portal using standard browsers)
